With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, this technology is reaching new dimensions. As increasingly high-quality content is produced, the variety of options available in the market is expanding. AI video applications, particularly those developed by Chinese companies, are becoming more popular. Now, ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, has announced a new AI-powered text-to-video application called Jimeng AI. Here are the details…
Jimeng AI Video AI Works Like OpenAI’s Sora
Following the release of ChatGPT by OpenAI, significant developments have occurred in the field of AI. Subsequently, OpenAI introduced a video AI application called Sora. This sparked many companies to begin developing similar AI technologies. Recently, alongside the globally launched Kling AI, ByteDance has unveiled Jimeng AI.
Currently, the application developed by ByteDance is only available in China. ByteDance aims to secure its place in this growing market in China and intends to compete with Kling AI and Zhipu AI. While both of these applications are available globally, there has not yet been an announced date for global availability of Jimeng AI.
Kling AI made headlines on social media with the videos it generated, earning recognition as one of the best AI for video creation. Although Jimeng AI has not yet released a sample video, the application was launched on Android in China on July 31, and it is now available for download on the Apple App Store. Additionally, the application can be accessed via its website.
Key features of the application include text-to-image generation, video creation, editing of pre-existing content, and image and video editing. Jimeng AI is available for a subscription fee, with a monthly charge of 69 yuan (approximately $10) and an annual fee of 659 yuan (approximately $92).
